In this project, Megadeth drummer Dirk Verbeuren and Megadeth, Parkway Drive and Deftones sound engineer Chris Rakestroh have joined forces to create a unique expansion for EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3.

The result is a kit that includes three unique kits, a variety of snare and bass drums, and over 30 cymbals. All instruments were recorded in one of the most famous hard rock and metal studios, Studio A at One On One in Los Angeles.

This studio has a massive, warm and lively sound, but still retains a tight and aggressive feel. It is ideal for recording powerful metal drums. This is confirmed by numerous records made here, including Megadeth’s “Rust in Peace”, Metallica’s “…And Justice for All” and “Black Album”, Dream Theater’s “Awake” and Testament’s “The Ritual”.
