The Eilean Flannel Piano is a beautiful, accomplished and clearly recorded upright piano designed for intimate neoclassical and film music inspired by artists such as Hania Rani, Olafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm.

Instead of felt, flannel was used. Since the fabric is thinner, it gives the piano a clearer, more focused sound while still retaining much of the felt hammer sound we all love. This allows for more flexibility when it comes to shaping the sound and helps it fit into a mix of almost any genre.

The piano section gives you control over key attack, key release, pedal, and pianist noises, including a dynamic response knob, and tone knob for quick sound shaping.

The Warp section is loaded with 6 “warp” sample sets curated and designed to blend beautifully with the piano. Sourced from the piano, these are organic ambiences which add instant space and depth without having to fiddle around with endless sound design tools. Instant gratification, if you will.
