With 30 alternate samples per key, this is one of our most detailed basses yet. And of course, the best part is the sound of that legendary Leo Fender bass. The Jazz Bass differs from the Precision Bass mainly in its electric interior, narrower neck and more asymmetrical body shape.
For our recording, we used a vintage RFT 4053 Tube Mic-Pre/DI from the good old 60’s. We recorded this “bass pearl” and expertly programmed it into the perfect library. The real strength of this bass guitar is its playability. There is no machine gun effect due to the multiple circular repetitions.
The analog sound gives this bass guitar character and the necessary shade for realistic performance. This vintage bass guitar is a versatile weapon suitable for modern musical styles.
• Clear and easy to use interface
• Lots of articulations and cyclic repeats (30 alternate samples per key/note)
• Damn simple velocity control for convincing reproduction of natural sounding bass; play hard – note with more precise attack, soft – slide tone
• Thoughtful script: modulation wheel – for sustain, black “C” – for stopping sustain with humanized bass noises
• Everything is ready for mixing (what you hear is what you get)
• Recorded on tape (15 IPS)
