One of the best VST synthesizers Synapse Audio DUNE 2, rightfully considered a modern classic among electronic musicians, has received a major update to the third version. Noting the improvements of the new version, the developers call Synapse Audio DUNE 3 nothing less than “DUNE in Full HD”.

The third version of the synthesizer has received a number of innovations. Thus, the developers have completely revised the filter section, which now offers not only new types of filters, but also a multi-mode filter with the ability to connect effects. As for the effects themselves, Synapse Audio claims that they have completely revised the algorithms used, which made the processing much better.

The changes affected the routing, which was also replenished with new signal redirection modes. In addition to this, DUNE 3 is now equipped with two arpeggiators with the ability to independently program and simultaneously play different sequences and MIDI files.

Synapse Audio has significantly improved the DUNE 3 oscillators, which now support wavetable, FM and VA synthesis. The total number of oscillators used can reach 8,320 pieces, with each equipped with its own modulation. Among other innovations are the Swarm Mode, which the developers call the evolution of the SuperSaw oscillator, a new built-in equalizer and a wavetable editor that allows you to draw segments and enter formulas that program the instrument.

Synapse Audio DUNE 3 is fully compatible with DUNE 2 presets and patches.

DUNE 3 features:

• Two independent arpeggiators with MIDI import support.

Dual Arpeggiator – Two arpeggiators instead of one greatly expand the sound design possibilities of DUNE 3. The arpeggiators can be programmed independently and produce both classic Up / Down arpeggios, or play various sequences or even MIDI files. In addition, new features such as Random mode or programmable Arp Hold make the arpeggiator more powerful than ever before!

Oscillators – At the heart of DUNE 3 are its powerful oscillator blocks. DUNE 3 supports the following synthesis: VA, FM and Wavetable. With a maximum of 8320 oscillators at full polyphony, DUNE 3 is a true polyphonic monster whose capabilities are unlikely to ever be exhausted.
New to DUNE 3 is the “Swarm” mode, an evolution of the classic Supersaw sound generator. In this mode, each oscillator gets its own modulation, breathing much more life into the sound than was previously possible!

Updated Effects – DUNE 3 offers a variety of new effect algorithms in all categories, such as distortion, chorus, phaser, equalizer, delay and reverb.
One of the most important additions is the new equalizer, which uses technologies from our GQ-7 Graphic Equalizer. Designed as a professional equalizer for mixing and mastering, it contains four bands with high-quality parametric and shelving equalizers, as well as two additional low-pass and high-pass filters with different cutoffs. All filters in the equalizer are designed to adjust modulation without artifacts, so this equalizer can be used for creative purposes different from traditional equalizer plugins.
Another great effect is the new Shimmer Hall, an exclusive feature of DUNE 3 that is perfect for lush background sounds, wonderful pads and leads!

The new Wavetable editor – introduced in DUNE 3, is one of the most powerful. Waveforms can be created using drawing, segments, a special part image editor or by entering formulas. A variety of functions such as morphing, fade in / out, normalize, DC removal, invert / reverse make creating new wavetables very fast. Waveforms and tables can be imported and exported in WAV format and are thus compatible with a wide range of third-party software.

During the installation of DUNE 3, a window will appear asking for the serial number.

Run DUNE3_KeyGen (select DUNE 3 – Full License), click “Generate”, paste the received number into the installer activation window and click “Offline Activation”

Copy the “Challenge Code” from the installer, paste it into the corresponding KeyGen window and click “Generate Response Code”
